Accomplishments

As very early eCommerce pioneer, I have had the opportunity to drive innovation projects that have scaled businesses, delivered profits, accelerated customer satisfaction and elevated brand perception. I believe in a professional environment where project ownership, collaboration, accountability and inclusion are encouraged. Some of my proudest moments are to see former direct reports become seasoned executives themselves.

Business

I have an accomplished career of executing firsts (one of the first ecommerce businesses - 1999, one of the first comprehensive omnichannel solutions - 2009, first national execution of a sponsored AR lens on Snapchat - 2017) while growing a digital business to $100m+ and contributing to the overall enterprise.

All these firsts focused on profitably growing the business while strengthening the brand and leveraging investments.

Awards

A highlight in my career was being named 2017 Canadian Marketer of the year. Really, I have had the great privilege to build and lead outstanding, world class teams that have been noticed and have made all of the awards possible.

Speaking Engagements

I have had the privilege to deliver keynote presentations on four continents and appear on national broadcasts and many industry and consumer publications on eCommerce, Retail, Social Media, Digital Marketing, Retail Marketing and Innovation.

Mentorship & Learning

I am a lifelong learner, constantly looking at ways to learn new skills and stay ahead of the curve. My passion have lead me to complete courses at institutions like MIT Sloan Executive Education and the Disney Institute in addition to personal reading, and online courses to name just a few.

Additionally, I have been a volunteer mentor through the American Marketing Association and the Canadian Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce for many years.

Personal Accomplishments

I believe in giving back and as such have volunteered my time as a mentor to support others early in their career, worked with post secondary and high schools on their marketing and eCommerce curriculums and offered my personal time to causes I believe will help make the world a better place.

I am also a driven and competitive person who has several athletic accomplishments:

Placed in the top 20 in World Sailing Competitions,
Sailed from Bermuda to New York City on a Tall Ship,
Cycled over 3000km's in eight countries that span South East Asia, Europe and North America in 2022,
And try to do at least one 10k a week to keep my running practice in check.

I love the outdoors, being active and sharing my passions with others.
